"UNEDITED FILM REPORT: On customs, traditions and costumes of several tribes, including Hopi, Blackfoot, Crow and Pueblo. Hopi woman styles young women's hair to symbolize their availability for marriage proposals. Navajo men herd sheep and goats. Indian man pulls out his whiskers and uses a "stomach stick" to aid digestion and rebuild muscles. Smoke signal rises in background of tepees. Mountain Chief, Blackfoot Indian, tells another Sioux a story in sign language while several other men listen. Crow Indian models costume. Elderly men paint their bodies. Pueblo woman demonstrates wrapping of and models deerskin leggings."
